WOMEN’S EVENING WEAR
Our sister Joanne Shenandoah, GRAMMY Award winning musician and family were honored to wear our clothing to the GRAMMY AWARDS in 2001. This was the first year a Native American Category was added, so she asked my wife Cheryl and myself to make something special for her, her daughter Leah, another sister Diane and our mother, Maisie Shenandoah to wear. Eastern Woodland two piece cape-style dress. Fringed cape with Eastern Woodland design shoulder strap dress for ease and comfort. Delicate fringed bottom. Outfits are made of white deerskin with Wampum Beads and shell. Crown, leggings, & moccasins to match.
